Heisman Trophy candidate predictions
As the college football season comes down to its final weeks, the likely finalists for the Heisman Trophy have emerged. Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty has been at the forefront of the Heisman race for most of the season as Jeanty has had a record-breaking season for the Broncos. If he can continue his excellent play, he will be the first running back to win the award since Alabama's running back Derrick Henry in 2015. Jeanty isn’t without competition, though, as Colorado Receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter has electrified college football fans all season long. Hunter’s ability to perform at such a high level on both sides of the ball is an athletic feat few have ever accomplished in college football. Other candidates include Hunter’s teammate, quarterback Sheduer Sanders, Miami quarterback Cam Ward, and Oregon quarterback Dillion Gabriel. We’ll discuss each player’s case for winning the sport's most illustrious trophy.

What’s going on with the Ottawa Senators?
The Ottawa Senators have been in a seven-year playoff drought leading them to be one of the most looked down upon teams in the National Hockey League (NHL); this season, however, could be the one that changes that storyline. The Senators have started the 2024-25 season with a 6-5-0 record and a hopeful outlook on this season.
NFL early season MVP candidates
While we’re not even at the halfway point of this 2024-25 National Football League (NFL) season, a few players have already separated themselves from the rest of the league as candidates to win the NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP). Whether it’s perennial MVP candidate Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, veteran Lions quarterback Jared Goff, superstar Bills quarterback Josh Allen, or Commanders rookie sensation quarterback Jayden Daniels, it will be a tough decision. We’ll break down the case each of these players has to win the award and then predict who will win the trophy.

Huge NFL trades last week as trade deadline looms
On Tuesday, Oct. 15, two of the league's most recognizable receivers were traded. Though they haven't met in the World Series since 1981, this matchup has the potential to be one of the most exciting World Series in recent memory. Both teams have some of the best and biggest stars in the entire sport. In this article, though, we’ll break down how the Yankees clinched a berth in the World Series.
Three NHL teams doing worse than expected so far
Although the 2024-25 National Hockey League (NHL) year has just started, many teams are underperforming and leaving fans worried about what the rest of the season will be like already. Those three teams are the Edmonton Oilers, the Colorado Avalanche, and the Nashville Predators.
Predicting NBA player award winners
The National Basketball Association (NBA) will begin its 2024-2025 season on Tuesday, Oct. 22. The NBA has an interesting award system to combat the NBA’s big “load management” problem, the association has developed specific requirements players must meet to qualify for a player award in the future. The rules entail that a player must play at least 65 games and play 20 minutes per game to be eligible to win a player award. With that in mind, here are my NBA award winner predictions.
